Overview
The DASAN V2524G is a Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for access networks and FTTx deployments. It provides 24 service ports, combining SFP fiber interfaces with fiber/copper combo ports to accommodate different network requirements.
With two optional uplink expansion slots, the V2524G supports Ethernet, EPON, or GPON modules. It can operate as a Layer 2 switch or as an MDU/ONU when equipped with a suitable PON module.

VLAN management: Supports 4K VLANs through IEEE 802.1Q, VLAN stacking/translation, and Independent VLAN Learning.

Network resilience: Supports STP, RSTP, MSTP, IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation, and Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP).

Traffic prioritization: Four queues per port, with SP, WRR, and DRR scheduling, plus traffic policing and shaping.

Multicast support: IGMP v1/v2/v3, IGMP snooping, and MVR for applications such as IPTV.

Access control: ACLs, IEEE 802.1X authentication, DHCP snooping, and storm control.

Convenient monitoring: Port mirroring, a dedicated management port, CLI console access, and status LEDs.
